Pritsumees
Pritsumees tests a competitor’s strength, endurance, and focus across four consecutive disciplines.
What is it?
Pritsumees (Toughest Firefighter Alive) is an intense competition where competitors need to keep a high pace and complete all four disciplines with control. Each discipline has a 4-minute time limit.
It is built for competitors who want to see how well their bodies and minds hold up as the effort grows from one discipline to the next.
Competition Structure
-
Hose
1. Hose Exercise
The competitor connects pressure hoses to the rescue vehicle, pulls two working lines fully across the marked line, then finishes by rolling up two B hoses and placing them in a box.
-
Rescue
2. Rescue Exercise
This discipline combines strength and movement: the Keiser fitness machine, canister carry, Rescue Randy transport, and crossing a high obstacle with the help of a rope.
-
Tower
3. Tower Exercise
The competitor places ladders at the tower, carries canisters up the stairs to the top, hoists a weighted hose roll, brings the canisters back down, and finishes by attaching the nozzle tip.
-
Stairs
4. Stair Run
The final exercise is pure endurance: the competitor runs to the top of the tower and back three times, then continues along the finish straight to the finish line.
